Mackin Architects offers an exciting opportunity for a Summer Co-op Student/Intern to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects that positively impact communities, including Indigenous community initiatives.

Position:  Summer Co-op Student/Intern
Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development and presentation of physical models for client meetings, design reviews, and project proposals.

  2. Collaborate with our team of architects and designers in utilizing Revit for project modeling, visualization, and documentation.

  3. Assist in the creation of detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using Revit's BIM capabilities.

  4. Assist in preparing proposals and reports

Qualifications:
  1. Enrolled in an architectural program or related field.

  2. Flexible and capable of multi-tasking between different projects and tasks.

  3. Strong interest in community engagement, Indigenous perspectives, and sustainable design.

  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  5. Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  6. Eligible to work in Canada.
