Grace Estates are 40 townhouses on the block that formerly housed the Grace Hospital, near the centre of Vancouver’s Cambie district. Grace Estates is more than double the density of the neighbourhood, yet blends seamlessly into the single family urban landscape. Cars drive under the Four plex “coachhouses” at each end of the site to access glass-covered patios/ carports, which extend living space in the event that people decide to give up their cars to benefit the health of people and the ecosystem.
