Mackin Associates employed a community engagement process to design a landscape and building that would offer business opportunities to the Urban Indigenous communities in this Vancouver housing and medical centre at first and Clark. A complex client that included Vancouver Coastal Health, BC Housing, and City of Vancouver necessitated a strong voice to reflect on the strengths and self-determination of Indigenous Cultures.
