Cruiseship Terminal Ethnobotanical Gardens

An asphalt wasteland was converted to a seaside walking garden replete with all native plants, most of them edible. The local otters also enjoyed the plants and reconfigured the landscape to become an otters’ playground. The dynamics of landscapes and respect for the earth are evident in this project. The landscape we designed and planted continues to delight Hullo ferry passengers, with ongoing participation of otters.
