Laxgalts’ap Health Centre expansion and administration centres were completed in consultation with the village community and staff. The health centre stayed operational throughout construction, which expanded the centre to 3 times its former size and added state-of-the-art treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, counseling areas, pharmacy, and other health-related amenities. Traditional medicine is acknowledged in the centre’s design, which emphasizes health promotion and prevention as well as treatment.
